Network & Partners

International collaboration is key in this research project because global health challenges cannot be solved by one country or institution alone. The partnership between institutions in Ghana, Tanzania, and Uganda and the Berlin University Alliance brings together diverse expertise, contexts, and experiences to co-develop effective health technologies.

“Our everyday lives are increasingly shaped by the use of new technologies. We repeatedly observe that promising technologies are developed in high-income countries, but turn out to be unsuitable for other countries with less infrastructure or different social conditions. Consequently, they are not used, and no one benefits.”

Prof. Beate Kampmann, Director of the Institute for International Health at Charité
